About SZABIST
The Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) is a non-profit, publicly and privately funded, independently chartered graduate school of science and technology. It has been established as a Center of Excellence through a legislative act of the Sindh Assembly (Sindh Act No. XI of 1995) and is approved and recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, as a degree granting institution.

SZABIST is a registered member of the International Association of Universities (IAU), Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), Asia University Federation (AUF), and the Association of SAARC Universities (ASU).

About the Test
Unlike most local universities’ aptitude tests, SZABIST’s admission test is a computer based test. It is divided in to three different sections, namely Math, English and Basic Computer Knowledge. Even though it is not a computer adaptive test like the GMAT or the GRE, no two people taking the test at the same time get the same test. When a student logs in for a test, the program retrieves a number of questions for each section of the test, from a pool of thousands of questions stored in the universities database; therefore the probability of the same question appearing on two tests is quite low.
